Who I Am
An intellegent and interesting man, all the more so having discovered I had been playing on the wrong team for many years about two years ago. Once I came to terms with my sexual identity, I found myself far better able to relax and enjoy life. In the process of divorce, I can only quote the lyrics, "there's no regrets, no tears good-bye, don't want you back, we'd only cry." I am settling in Edinburgh (and have been for a while) to focus on me, for the first time in my life. Hope that doesn't sound too selfish, but I find I like myself now and appreciate others far more than I ever did. I'm in the process of writing a couple of books (one fiction the other non) and poetry. I enjoy reading, drawing, and old movies. I'm a fanatic about Scrabble. Long walks have become a welcome enjoyment---this from a man who thought exercise involved limos or taxies. My friends tell me I am warm and outgoing; the Centre for Creative Leadership termed me a flaming extrovert. Interesting, I think, since I really enjoy my own company, yet love being with others. I'm told I listen well, give great advice, and rarely err when acting on gut instinct. I'm looking to expand my horizons, having been with but one partner since coming out. Time for me to meet other gay men and really experience this new life.

Warm, intellegent, enthusiastic, animated, and spontaneous person, with a good sense of humour. Looks and age aren't so important. While a physical relationship is important, when based on more than what is skin deep, the excitement is heightened and the pleasure deepened.
