Take Part In a TV Show - Apply Now: ITV: The Neighbourhood Hosted by Graham Norton

ITV announced today a thrilling new entertainment format, The Neighbourhood, which sees families and households compete in a street-sized reality game, battling it out for the chance to take home a life-changing cash prize. Hosted by the brilliant BAFTA- award- winning broadcaster Graham Norton, and coming next year to ITV1 and ITVX, this brand new 12-part series offers a gameshow as youve never seen it before. It marries high-stakes competition, epic challenges and relatable domestic drama, to offer a different flavour of reality. The format was developed by Lifted Entertainments development team led by Kat Hebden and Development Exec Ed Daggett, alongside the Garden's Director of Development Mike Philo. Lifted Entertainment and The Garden will co-produce. Both are part of ITV Studios. The Neighbourhood will see real-life households from all walks of life move in side by side, finding themselves not only neighbours but also fierce competitors in the ultimate reality showdown. This is a game the households will live as well as play. Theyll be with each other 24/7, sleeping and eating in their houses, socialising between them - and then voting each other out. The challenges they face in public will change the dynamics behind closed doors. And to win, theyll need to defeat their neighbours, while still staying popular on the street. In The Neighbourhood, its not about keeping up with the Joneses - its about beating them! Casting is currently open, to take part apply here: itv.com/beontv Host and broadcaster Graham Norton said: Like everyone, Im always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life changing prize and Im hooked. Both Lifted and The Garden are masters at what they do, so I feel confident The Neighbourhood will be the nation's favourite destination! Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime ITV said: The Neighbourhood offers audiences the perfect blend of high-stakes competition and reality drama, with a very relatable cast. With the beloved Graham Norton at the helm, its going to make for an unmissable entertainment experience. Richard Cowles, Managing Director at Lifted Entertainment and John Hay, CEO of The Garden said: In a TV landscape full of successful formats set in jungles, islands and luxurious villas, The Neighbourhood offers a fresh and different flavour: its a show all about the drama on our doorsteps. This is a world we know and love from soaps and sitcoms, so were excited to make it the setting for a new type of competition reality show and theres no better person to bring it to life than Graham. The Neighbourhood has been commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime ITV and Louise Major, Entertainment Commissioning Editor ITV. It is a co-production between Lifted Entertainment and The Garden. The brand new series will be internationally distributed by ITV Studios, and will air on ITV1 and ITVX next year.
