The Speculators by Greg Innes Adapted from The Clouds by Aristophanes Performed by Arcola 50+ Group & directed by Aoife Beaumont and Charlotte Croft . The Speculators is a razor-sharp, darkly funny modern adaptation of Aristophanes The Clouds, reimagined in the heart of Dalston. When two young gamblers, Phi and Dip, find themselves drowning in debt, their desperate mothers seek a way outonly to stumble upon the Thinkery, a shadowy institution promising wealth through wit and financial trickery. Will they beat the system, or will the system beat them?
