Birthday clowns, Buddy and Dorothy, lose their footing in this one act comedy when Buddy decides to join the theatre in a world that isnt quite ready for the moving-on-up of red-nosed dreamers with extra-long handkerchiefs. Written by Jonah Fried, this Work in Progress, directed by Izzy Ponsford and co-starring Catherine Clay and Jonah Fried, dives into a clownmunity where everythings a joke until it isnt. Buckle your seat belts for the clown-car ride of your life as On the Nose explores themes of Queerness, belonging, activism and friendship, while trying to hold on to the most important thing of all: laughter in our hearts.
