Swindon & Wiltshire Pride takes place on Saturday the 19th August 2025. Swindon & Wiltshire Pride was launched in 2008, with the first ever Pride festival being held in Swindon. In 2009, the Pride event was expanded to incorporate Swindon & Wiltshire Pride. This year's pride will be a cut down event, consisting of a small pride picnic. Pride is inclusive of all. Children are welcome, especially with accompanying adults. Theme to follow Parade Pride March @ 11:00-12:00. The Pride March will start promptly at 11:30 and make its way through town, towards the town hall and then to GWR Park, ready to begin Pride. Bring your placards, whistles and, of course, flags. Dress in what you feel comfortable wearing. This is a walking parade only, and no vehicles will be allowed. Accessibility: There are no steps on the route however, the parade route is on an incline and uneven in places. The route does go up Victoria Hill towards the end. Festival After two years at Queen's Park, we're moving to GWR Park. We have increased our hours this year - the park will be open from 11:00 to 20:00. 11:00 to 12:00 will be a quieter hour with reduced noise, ideal for visitors who prefer to explore the event with fewer distractions at 12:00 when the Pride March will arrive and the main stage entertainment begins. We'll have live music and acts on stage throughout the day. After party to follow
