Darling Boy @ Camden People's Theatre

Direct from acclaimed, sold-out shows in Edinburgh, Dublin, Melbourne and Sydney. A hilarious and heartbreaking ode to first love, sweaty clubs, family and growing up (whenever that happens...) .. Darling Boy feels like he's failing at his 20's. He hates the apps, can't do clubs or casual sex, and feels like the main character of a film no one is paying to see. He's trying to get over his first love, the memory of which lingers, and there is so much he and his family aren't talking about. This deeply affecting and achingly relatable comedy-drama about connection and loneliness will stay with you long after you leave the theatre. Praised for its sharp, deliciously funny' writing and 'powerhouse performance' by rising Aussie star Rupert Bevan (Edinburgh Reporter), this strikingly honest and incredibly poignant (Weekend Notes) tour-de-force comes to London after a beloved run at last years Edinburgh Fringe. You don't want to miss this. Writer/Performer: Rupert Bevan .. Director: Lucy Rossen .. Sound Design/Composer: Rupert Buesst
