Classical Pride Presents: A Proud Future @ Barbican Centre

A Proud Future features the star performers and composers from the LGBTQ+ student bodies of Londons conservatoires. LGBTQ+ students from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance give a series of concerts of LGBTQ+ music that has personal meaning for them. Taking place in the medieval parish church that sits at the heart of the Barbican, six thirty-minute concerts will run from 2pm until 6.30pm with full programme, including some specially commissioned works to be announced soon. Each performance will last approximately 30 minutes. Audience members can attend any or all of the performances... Classical Pride with VIIV Healthcare and GAY TIMES is also generously supported by R. Martin Chavez, Lincoln Benet, David Kaskel & Chris Teano and Lord Donoughue. Classical Pride is non-profit, and net proceeds are donated to three important LGBTQ+ charities, Rainbow Railroad, Terrence Higgins Trust and GAY TIMES' Amplifund. Classical Pride is promoted by Ozero Arts, an arts production charity (registered charity no. 1155338) that undertakes ambitious artistic projects - conceiving, producing and raising money for bold ideas across live and recorded music.
