Classical Pride Presents: The Fourth Choir/ My Beloved Man @ Barbican Centre

My Beloved Man features Londons LGBTQ+ The Fourth Choir, conducted by Nicholas Chalmers in an exploration of the 39-year relationship between Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears. The programme includes the world premiere of a new commission by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Munich: The Edge of War), with text to be written by a refugee relocated by one of Classical Prides charity partners, Rainbow Railroad. Founded in 2013, The Fourth Choir have curated the programme which also includes texts read by radio legend Petroc Trelawney, and features music by Brittens contemporaries Imogen Holst and Michael Tippett... Classical Pride with ViiV Healthcare and GAY TIMES is also generously supported by R. Martin Chavez, Lincoln Benet, David Kaskel & Chris Teano and Lord Donoughue.
