Bristol Pride takes place over the weekend 8/9 July 2023. Bristol Pride is a unique and important event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and offers the chance to connect and bring people together. Were thrilled that the festival will return this summer and span two weeks. During the two weeks, our exciting programme of events will take place in venues across Bristol, bringing the city alive with Pride. Parade The parade will gather at Castle Park from 10am and will depart at 10.45am. The route is approximately 2 miles long and will take about 1 hour to complete. The Parade March is what Pride is, and we are incredibly excited about returning to the streets for Pride Day on Saturday, 8 July. Pride is a protest! We use our political voice to amplify, maintain and further LGBT+ human rights in Bristol and beyond. It is a bold statement for equality, diversity and inclusion, to celebrate our community and to show that hatred and prejudice have no place in our city, or anywhere. We encourage community groups, charities, public sector organisations and businesses who actively support LGBT+ human rights to join us. Festival Saturday, 8 July Multi-award-winning and one of the largest free Pride events in the UK, we cant wait to welcome you back to Pride Day! After an incredible 40,000 people to The Downs in 2019, we are excited to return to our new home after doubling our capacity and introducing new festival areas. Not only are we one of the largest UK Pride events, but were one of Bristols largest festivals, and named in the Top50 World Pride events in 2018 & 2019. We have so many festival stages and areas on Pride Day, showcasing the great diversity of our scene, events and performances. Youll also find great ways to chill out or get involved in some really fun activities. Check out all the info below and work out how you can fit it all in!
