You are warmly invited to this book launch for Sophia Blackwell, who will be introducing her new poetry collection The Other Woman (Burning Eye Books). Also featuring brilliant performance poet and slam champion Keith Jarrett, reading from his poetry collection Selah (also from Burning Eye) this event is not to be missed. Keith Jarrett: Former UK poetry slam champion and Rio International Poetry Slam Winner 2014, Keith Jarrett is a PhD scholar at Birkbeck University, where he is completing his first novel. His monologue, Safest Spot in Town, was aired on BBC Four last summer. His book of poetry, Selah, was published in 2017. Sophia Blackwell: Acclaimed performance poet and novelist, Sophia is the author of two previous collections of poetry Into Temptation (2008) and The Fire Eaters Lover (2018). She is also the author of a novel, After My Own Heart (2012) and her poetry has been anthologised by Bloodaxe, Nine Arches and the Emma Press among others. Admission FREE
