Go Through the Decades with Pride in Hull! Pride in Hull is a family event for the LGBT+ community, our friends and allies. This year we're marking #LGBT50, the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality and celebrating our status as Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and the first ever UK Pride. Art collective Duckie will be kicking off proceedings with the biggest pride parade Hull has ever seen, followed by a massive party for the whole family in Queen's Gardens. Amongst the acts already announced are Soft Cell's Marc Almond, chart topping girl band B Witched, Eurovision star Sonia, the return by popular demand of Seann Miley Moore, 90s idols Cleopatra, drag icon La Voix, X Factor girlband Blonde Electra and local legend, Bobby Mandrell. More headline acts will join the local performers, comedians, stalls and other surprises on the day. Free entry (suggested donation of 5 helps to contribute towards next year's event). No ticket required.
