The Manchester Pride Festival will take place throughout August. The Big Weekend takes place from 26 - 29 August 2016. Main Stage The Main Stage Arena is at the heart of the celebrations in Manchester's Gay Village over The Big Weekend. It's played host to first-class artists from across the globe, including Kelis, All Saints, Texas, Dannii Minogue, Alison Moyet, Alesha Dixon, Anastacia, MNEK, Foxes and whole host of singers, performers and celebrity presenters. The full line-up for this year's Main Stage performers will be announced in August. The Sackville Boutique Stage The Sackville Boutique Stage is The Big Weekend's little green oasis amidst the hedonism. The tempo is relaxed and the atmosphere chilled. It's the perfect place to find your own little patch of greenary, grab a cider, sit in the sun and enjoy the carefully curated performances we have in store for you. Sackville Gardens is also host to some of the best street food found at The Big Weekend, which has been perfectly matched to its surroundings, sumptuous yet satisfying. Anyone for Pimms? Lounge on one of the branded Pimms beds, take some shade under a parasol and grab yourself an ice cold jug of Pimms from the dedicated vintage Pimms Bus, or a cocktail from the Sackville Gardens bar. The full line-up for The Sackville Boutique Stage will be announced in August. The Gaydio Dance Arena Where disco meets dance and djs meet drag artists, The Gaydio Dance Arena is a full on assault on the senses. Situated in the Indoor Arena, every night from 7pm we welcome some of the worlds best djs, with sets from critically acclaimed super-clubs such as Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound and live shows from big names such as Hot Since 82, Crazy P Soundsystem, Stonebridge, Graeme Park, Jodi Harsh, Kidnap Kid, Seamus Haji and Drop The Mustard. From deep house to dirty disco, heavy electro to Detroit techno and classic house to sleazy pop, The Gaydio Dance Arena will have you reaching for the lasers and cutting shapes in to the early hours.
