See Peterson Toscano live in the beautiful church of St Mary Aldermary in the heart of the City of London. Gay performance artist, Peterson Toscano tackles many topics in his one-person comediesGay Conversion Therapy, Homophobia, Sexism, Privilege, and an oddball approach to Climate Change. He is also a Bible scholar who has unearthed the stories of gender outlaws in the Bible. Using humor and heart, Peterson helps audiences relax, listen, and grow in their understanding of some of the most pressing issues of our time. In a special performance Peterson will present excerpts from his plays including Doin Time in the Homo No Mo Halfway House, Queer 101Now I Know my gAy,B,Cs, The Re-Education of George W. BushNo President Left Behind, TransfigurationsTransgressing Gender in the Bible, Jesus Had Two Daddies, and his newest work, Does This Apocalypse Make Me Look Fat? "Peterson Toscano's work combines astute readings of the Bible with great story-telling and comedy. He offers interpretations of the texts and insights that even experienced biblical scholars haven't seen before.
